'This coincided with the Dig The City Festival, which included live opera music and floral displays. We solved all the clues then had a delicious pub meal. Mass was at the historic Hidden Gem Church'. Helen

'Great day, seeing behind the scenes of Radio 6, Match of the Day and also where they record the Philharmonic Orchestra. My favourite part was the studio where they record the plays, they really do use coconuts!!!' Sarah

'We started with some lunch in the cafe which was really nice. Plenty of choice including soup, sandwiches and traditional hotpot.
A good chance to have a chat and catch up with friends. After that we went to have a look at the exhibitions. There were some fascinating pieces including textiles, sculptures and paintings from a wide range of artists to explore. Lots of different influences were
on show with different historical backgrounds and contributions from a local school. A really interesting and enjoyable day'. Liane

Day retreat at the Evron Centre, Stockport 'A particularly spiritual day. We all brought some goodies for lunch that included sandwiches, fruit, cakes, crisps, salad and various chocolate treats. After this was a chance for adoration and quiet reflection. A welcome opportunity in a sometimes very hectic world to focus a little. Mass was a lovely peaceful affair that everyone contributed to by choosing hymns, reading and joining in the celebration'. Liane |
